Conquest: Last Argument of Kings

My newest game is Conquest: Last Argument of Kings. It is a really great tabletop wargame made by Para Bellum Games. I’m currently building up my first armies for the Old Dominion, the Spires, and Sorcerer Kings (and maybe more). Just starting to get into it, but it is really fun. The game has a better model scale, rules, and lore than other wargames I’ve played. Highly recommend checking it out!

Warhammer 40k

I played Warhammer 40k as my favorite activity back in high school. I recently picked it back up in 9th edition and built a Tau Empire army. I played in a few major tournaments and participated in some local warhammer activities in Monterey, CA. I haven’t played much 10th edition though. Currently taking a hiatus to focus on Conquest.

Drums & Percussion

I have played drums and percussion semi-professionally for the majority of my life. I have experience playing all over the world with diverse groups and at some famous performance venues. The styles and types of drumming I know the best are:

• Drumset and Jazz: mostly big band / swing music. Lots of combo experience

• Brazilian: Samba, pandeiro, and all the drums in between

• Cuban and Puerto Rican: I played for ~3 years in a Salsa group as the hybrid timbales / drumset player

• Hindustani drumming: I spent many years learning tabla. I still can play, just very infrequently.
