Gameplay
Dysruption supports three infrastructure games: Break It Bad (BIB), Fix It Fast (FIF), and Save Our System (SOS). Together, the three games provide a comprehensive view of system vulnerability and resilience and situate learning around decisions that civil engineering officers have to deal with in their day-to-day operations.

Selecting an Object
Upon loading into a game, players will be able to select features to learn more about their attributes and available controls.
In the example above, a pipe in a fuel system was selected. This revealed the name, temperature, flow, and Facilities Condition Index (FCI) of that pipe, and control over if that pipe should be attacked.
Facilities Condition Index (FCI)
All vulnerable infrasturcture components in Dysruption report FCI values, which indicate their condition at a snapshot in time. The lower the FCI value of a component, the greater its likelihood of failure.
Invulnerable Arcs
Certain infrastructure components in Dysruption may be designed in a scenario to not fail from either FCI degradation or player attacks. There are called “invulnerable”.
Arc Styling
Infrastructure components will by styled differently in the game depending on their FCI values, status (active, or failed) and vulnerability.
