PAPERS

Co-author on a paper for Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM, Quantico, VA), with Dr Dan Nussbaum and Colonel Ed Lesnowicz, USMC (Ret). This paper was a follow-up on a thesis by Capt Andy Burrow, USMC, an NPS OR graduate in Dec 2010. We describe the problems and issues of the present Sense and Respond Logistics program by the USMC Light Armored Vehicle office. The program was initialized by the Program Manager, Light Armored Vehicle in an effort to provide both users and commanders with real-time logistics information. This real-time information is collected from the Light Armored Vehicle via sensors that are placed in critical areas. Many issues remained with this program, and we attempted to identify the problems and offer possible solutions. Submitted 2011.
