Images and Videos

• The images subdirectory contains numerous photographs. Not all of these are copyright-free - we've gotten permission from the copyright holders to use some of these. Permission letters are in the kelp mail list hypermail archive.

• The images/JeffLeitzPhotos subdirectory contains copyright-free photographs by - you guessed it - Jeff Leitz.

• The videos subdirectory contains numerous copyright-free videos, digitized in MPEG-2 format.

• Species descriptions are available on the tank placards which appear along the bottom of the large windows. Prepared by Dave Schalm.

• Here is a illustrated fish diagram that provides proper names for the various body parts of a fish.

• The Physics and Coordinate Systems page includes several maps of the tank.

• Preferred image formats are .jpg .png and (if no alternative) .gif, to best ensure VRML compatibility.
