This course focuses on implementation of a wide variety of military Operations Research methods using Microsoft Excel spreadsheet software accessible in any typical Department of Defense environment. Excel topics include using the Visual Basic Editor, recording macros, variables, subroutines, ranges, control logic and loops.

OS3180: Probability and Statistics for Systems Engineering

This course introduces the systems engineering and analysis student to probability, descriptive statistics, inferential statistics, and regression. The modeling and analysis of the stochastic behavior of systems provides the context for the course.
