Dr. Kyle Lin is Professor in the Operations Research Department at the Naval Postgraduate School. Dr. Lin specializes in mathematical modeling, applied probability, game theory, and their applications in defense-related problems. His research focuses on developing novel mathematical models to glean new insights about a broad spectrum of defense-related operations, such as patrol, surveillance, search, and combat operations. He also works closely with several DoD agencies to address emerging logistical, strategic, tactical, and operational problems.
