Welcome to the Media Enhanced version of
Developing Security Strategy: The U. S. Approach.
This module introduces you to the fundamentals of the US national security strategy, and the process for its formulation. The links in the menu will open up presentations that incorporate audio, animations, text and interactions. It is suggested that the first time through the module you start with Introduction and go through the materials sequentially. Note that you can navigate through the presentation by clicking the navigation arrows below the slides or using the side navigation. There are also tabs on the top left of the presentation interface that enable you to read the script for each slide and search the slides using key words. The presentations will open in a new browser window.
Test Your System
You will need to disable the pop-up blocker setting in your browser’s preferences and have the Flash Player browser plug-in to access these presentations. The box below should tell you which version of the Flash player you have. If you do not see a text box below, or if your player version is lower than version 6, you will need to download and install the latest version of the free Macromedia Flash Player.
