Current standard: IEEE 1278.1
Resupply Received PDU
Size: 320
Description: The reciept of supplies shall be communicated by issuing a Resupply Received PDU. The Resupply Received PDU shall contain the following fields:
a) PDU Header - This field shall contain data common to all DIS PDUs. The PDU Header shall be represented by the PDU Header Record (see 5.3.24).
b) Receiving Entity Identification -This field shall identify the receiving entity. This field shall be represented by and Entity Identifier Record (see 5.3.14).
c) Supplying Entity identification - This field shall identify the supplying entity. This field shall be represented by and Entity Identifier Record (see 5.3.14).
d) Number of Supply Types - This field shall specify the number of different supplies taken by the receiving entity. This field shall be represented by an 8-bit unsigned integer. The maximum number of Supply Quantity Records in a Resupply Received PDU is a function of the maximum PDU size specified in the Standard for Distributed Interactive Simulation - Communication Services and Profiles, and is defined as follows
n(max) = (Max PDU size - 224) / 96
n(max) = 114 for the current communication architecture standard.
e) Supplies - This field shall specify the type of supply and the amount of that supply for each of the supply types specified above. This field shall not be present if the Number of Supply Types field value is zero. This field shall be represented by a Supply Quantity Record (see 5.3.30).
The Resupply Received PDU is represented in Table 38.
