Don Brutzman is providing a half-day DIS-Java-VRML tutorial
at
4th IEEE DS-RT '2000,
Fourth IEEE International Workshop on Distributed Simulation and Real Time Applications,
Canterbury Hotel, San Fransisco California USA,
August 23-26, 2000. The tutorial will be given 1:30pm-5:30pm, Thursday August 24th 2000.
Network connections will be provided.

February 21-24 2000, Monterey California USA.
We had a combined meeting for the
DIS-Java-VRML
and
virtual reality transfer protocol (vrtp)
working groups at the
VRML 99 Symposium, Paderborn Germany,
Friday February 26 1999. Current & future work for both groups were discussed,
including dial-a-behavior protocol and likely developments with the
Extensible 3D (X3D) specification and MPEG4 streaming.
