LTC Ross J. Schuchard is an Assistant Professor of Operations Research and the Technical Director for the Naval Postgraduate School's Data Science and Analytics Group (DSAG). He holds a Ph.D. in Computational Social Science from George Mason University and a B.S. in Economics from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. An active duty Army officer serving in the Operations Research / Systems Analysis (ORSA) functional area (FA49), LTC Schuchard has focused on establishing data science and cloud-based analytics capabilities at U.S. Army Futures Command, U.S. Army Cyber Command, and other various government agencies in his most recent ORSA assignments.
