Professional History

Commander Ward has been a practitioner of operations analysis with the Combined Joint Task Force – Horn of Africa, as an exchange officer in the United Kingdom with the Assistant Chief of Defence Staff for Logistics Operations, and at the United States Strategic Command in Omaha, Nebraska. His earlier tours were with the Headquarters of the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program (Naval Reactors), USS ROSS (DDG 71), USS IWO JIMA (LHD 7), the Chief of Naval Operations Strategic Studies Group, and the United Nations as a Military Observer in Western Sahara.
