I am an Assistant Professor of Finance and Economics here at
the Graduate School of Business & Public Policy, Naval Postgraduate School.
I received my Ph.D and MS in economics from the California Institute of Technology (Caltech). My BS is from UCLA, double majoring in mathematics and economics.
I also received my graduate diploma from the US Army Intelligence Center. I was commissioned in the US Army after completing 4 years of Army ROTC during college. I served as a military intelligence officer and a psychological operations officer and was honorably discharged.
My recent research interest has been in market design,
particularly for the Department of Defense. I focus on retention and
separation bonuses, combinatorial auctions, as well as two-sided matching
problems for the internal labor markets.
In addition, I continue to do researches in applied game theory, organizational economics and financial economics.
