Dr. Robert F. Dell is a Professor and Chairman of Operations Research at the Naval Postgraduate School where he has been an active contributor to the OR Department's accomplishments since joining the faculty as an Assistant Professor in 1990. He has received research support from every uniformed service for topics ranging from naval capital planning to Coast Guard cutter scheduling. He has also applied optimization in the private sector in areas ranging from production scheduling to supply chain design. His research appears in many open literature publications. His recent awards include the Military Operations Research Society 2008 David Rist Prize, the Military Operations Research Society 2007 Richard H. Barchi Prize, the Department of the Navy Superior Civilian Service Award in 2006, and the 2005 Department of the Army Dr. Wilbur B. Payne Award for Excellence in Analysis. Dr. Dell holds a TS/SCI clearance. | ||
